A special thank you to Judith Wolfe for sharing her exhibition space with Stop the Stadium. Judith Wolfe is exhibiting her paintings from the 4th August to 12th August.

Stop the Stadium Protest March and Rally Saturday 2 August

Over 1000 people marched to the Octagon with the Stop the Stadium mascot, the pink pig, accompanied by pink balloons, the Waitati Militia Band, placards, songs and chants, and headed by a Highland piper:

We listened to speeches by the Stop the Stadium president, Bev Butler, Green MP Metiria Turei, Dr Marc Schallenberg, University of Otago Zoology Dept, and Stop the Stadium vice-president Victor Billot.
